How we met: Marlee is a rescued dog and Chevy is Marlee's son.

About: Vicky ran a pool shop and now teaches others how to run them.

About: Annette is a medical receptionist, enjoys time with her grandchildren and children, holidaying and reading.

How we met: We chose 'Summer' because she was the smallest, very timid and looked like she needed the most love.
Great loves: Children, lots of attention, listening to stories and having a cuddle.
Favourite foods: Pig's ears and any people food.
Not like: Having her tail brushed.
Quirks: She goes to the neighbours and comes back with their shoes in her mouth!

About: Margaret worked in children's clothing. She is now a coordinator for Tweed Valley Respite.

How we met: Margaret bought 'Bronte' as an 8 week old pup.

About: Mel is a registered nurse, likes beach holidays, surfing and travelling.

Nancy and 'Flossy'

How we met: Flossy was a gift from my son and his wife. Flossy is from a litter born two days after my darling mum passed away. It was hoped Flossy would help me with her loss. She certainly did.
Great loves: Walks, cuddles and next door's Golden Retriever.
Favourite foods: Raw chicken necks or wings
Not like: Black and white large dogs, being left alone
